The Nexus One Provides A Strong New Option For Switching To Android


Google Inc. (GOOG) introduced a new touch-screen mobile phone that runs on its own Android operating system, the Nexus One.

The Nexus One is 0.45 inches (11.5 millimeters) thick, which is comparable to the iPhone, and offers a larger screen (3.7-inch).  The Nexus One weighs 130 grams (4.6 ounces). It utilizes the Qualcomm Inc. Snapdragon processor, which should make it as fast or faster than the Droid.
